Where can I buy mens boots?

I want to buy a nice pair of boots, not sure what kind yet I'm going to have to look around. Anywhere from just black boots to biker to cowboy. What types of stores sell boots? Do you think boots would look alright with my school attire? I wear jeans usually black or denim and a solid t shirt tucked in with a belt. I have a feeling people will call me a farmer or cowboy once I get boots but I don't care.
