Do you think the world is going to end in 2012?

It was the Mayans and what they predicted was the end of an age - not the end of the world. On their calendar, an age lasts 5,125 years, and the latest one is set to end in 2012. This one happens to also be the end of the current galactic day, which is a period of five ages, or 25,625 years. Obviously we know that the world is older than 25,625 years, so there have been turnovers like this before. It's not the end of the world. In Mayan teachings, this is as much about new beginnings as it is about endings.
